THE ROSE CORPORATION, a Job Shop specializing in large fabrications, has used VSR Technology’s On-Site Stress Relief Service several times. On this trip, two workpieces were stress relieved: The first, a 418″ L Ingot Stripper weighing approx. 30-tons; the other, a Trunnion Ring, a ring-shaped workpiece, being repaired, which had a concentrated area where residual stresses were present.
