This work applies ANYSYS Finite Element Analysis to a study of the effectiveness of vibratory stress relief. In numerous applications within industry the success of vibratory treatment is shown to be related to the amplitude vibration. (M S dissertation, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.)
